Yes a pretty girl on a dating site. She plays well for days and trys to convince you into depositing funds with Poseidon. I had an uneasy feeling al along and opted out.
Pretty sure this is a scam. Also got invited from a random friend to try joining it, but their website is riddled with minor spelling and grammatical errors (subtle ones that shouldn’t be on a professional business page). They also need a LOT of personal information to register your account (Passport copy and Driver’s license, Front and Back). They could easily commit identity fraud with your info even if you don’t invest any money.
I think I fell for this like an idiot and uploaded my driver’s license like a fool. Any advice on how to protect myself against identity theft going forward? Not sure why I just trust every human being that I meet like they are the next best thing to sliced bread? I must have some seriously low self esteem issues that I’m being taken in this way by people. Oh well, serves me right I suppose :: Sighs ::

Actually I surprised when I see this explanations in this page. I met with a girl from Hong Kong. She suggested it to me. I deposited 4500 USD to my account. I waited 2 weeks to increase my profit. Today my profit 550 USD. I applied to take my profit. According to responsible person said they will send it to me in 3 days. I will tell you again if any positive or negative improvement. You can take information from me if I forget give information in here.
Did you get your money?
I applied for full withdrawal on the 31st July, and they replied yesterday saying I need to pay another deposit of 50% of my withdrawal amount in order to apply for full withdrawal and the deposit will be refunded after 1 week. They also threatened saying that if I do not pay it in 3 days the money will be frozen in the bank. I am not depositing the money as I know they are scams.

Liu Jiajia contacted me on tinder, spoke very well for a few days, maybe about a week, sharing some nice pictures of a very pretty girl, claiming to be in my city. Then she shares an image of a profitable trade saying she has had success following a friend of her uncle who is a tycoon in hong kong. She suggests you use mt4 and use a demo account to test her agent to see if you will make money, then shares a business card asking you to contact them.
The whole thing felt a bit dodgy to be honest so I thought i’d do some online research and came across this site.

I am also currently stucked in her scam. For me she used the name Mei Su (
+852 5534 0709). Everytime you want to withdraw your so called investment or profit, they make various kind of lies about the process. She will also try to ask you to get your friends to participate in the scam.
She usually has communication with the so-called customer service, the customer service numbers changes from time to time and it’s a generated (+1 (804) 476-8639) and (+1 (320) 200-4351). These customer service number she will give you carries a logo to deceive it’s a threw customer care service. Whenever you try to withdraw your money, the portal sends you a generated email that it’s approved but money almost never arrives. Also, she will try to make you believe that your money is safe and you can withdraw easily or faster with digital currency, which might only work on a first trial.
Regarding the trading itself, It’s all fraud. They are a group that manipulates data on MT4 to make you think you are doing Forex trading. All the prices of the data she sends to you will not correspond with the actual market data and pricing. A way to know is to compare the prices of the forex products she sends to you to price with about three other brokers.

I think they have a network or ring of scammers using that same strategy; they are in hongkong and china. Ideally, the girls are the bait and they get there share after scamming. This is the IP address to the poseidon server (18.166.14.144) it is hosted in Amazon HongKong. The site is powered by a Content Management System.
She found me on Tinder too. It was strange, because it showed her right here in Europe, while she said she is in Singapure. I was actually interested in this trading she proposed, as I am a trader too. Before using real money I googled, and found this website. But even if I registered I would not use the Poseidon broker anyway, but something trustworthy I find on Google, Reddit, Quora and trader FB groups.
They also tries to use Telegram as well. This is a common scam in HongKong/China. Brokers there bribes their way to be falsely listed.
After read all these comments, now I’m really certain that I’ve been played by a con artist. All of the stories matched up. My story is similar like yours, matched with a pretty chinese girl name LiXingPing from Jianxi Nanchang , her location show very near my place but she won’t admit it and saying she doesn’t know why it happen. But she said she used to visit my country near my place. Then she gives her wechat id, she give a good amount of affection to me, and introduced herself as a owner of a cosmetic store. It didn’t trigger any kind of suspicion at that time. After a few days, she started showing me a screenshot of graph from MT4 that she currently trading into. A few minutes later she

Tried not to believing him as this girl seems very real for me. She asked me if I want to learn trading she can be my tutor but in return, when she visited my place I need to be her tour guide. Any single man would be more than happy to hear this things from a pretty girl. We chatted a lot and hits pretty good. But occasionally she will send me screenshots of her trading activity with the profit along the way. Then I started to have a doubt, I asked her if she is real, but it ‘upset’ her, saying that don’t believe her I’m not willing to. Once again it remove my doubt. Promised her if I can learn it in weekend as I’m very busy at work, however I got sick and unable to fulfill my promise and stopped chat with her temporarily. Monday night in this week, I chatted with her again but she sounds like someone frustrated, saying that she’s thinking about our relationship and me not being serious. I got upset a little as she should be understand my health condition at that time. But I said she can teach me the next day. However, yesterday when we actually be able to have this forex session. I opened a demo account with a campany name Poseidon Int. Group ltd and followed her instructions. Out of curiosity I googled the cmpany name and found lots of bad reviews and red flag, also acrossed similar stories with mine. So I send her a screenshot about those review and stated I’m in really big doubt bcause it seems similar modus operandi. She’s upset and saying that I should stop texting her , mentioning that I shouldn’t doubting her as we have been sharing life stories for 3 weeks. I said that I’m really don’t want to doubt her so I asked her to send her photo with my name written in a paper, however she send me her id card instead with closed photo underneath her thumb. Then she blocked me on wechat saying she will defends herself. Then I came across with this site and I’m confident that I was being played. Thanksfully my curiosity saves me. The scam artist is very creative into making you believing ‘her’ by not being forceful and gives you affections. Please be careful guys.

When I asked a person who called himself a broker Alex for the address of the company, he sent me an address. The address sent was New York, USA. As for the Poseidon HP claim that they are licensed and authorized by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC), this is simply not true.
Later this month he contacted me that he needed to withdraw the full amount. I have been contacted to transfer 20% as tax. I’m not going to pay.

After I made deposit the Poseidon Group changed to 365Global Market and also she changed the phone number from-203-543-3833 to 423-444-4436 and finally to other number 423-444-4473…Tennessee and Connecticut numbers
She said she had a shop in Utah , I didn’t believe it because she had numbers from Connecticut and Tennessee. When I asked why she told me she used to live in Tennessee and kept that number.
