Selected Markets Review

🔴 Selected Markets services are questionable – a warning sign!

🔴 Selected Markets isn’t licensed – a red flag!

🔴 Selected Markets isn’t transparent – a red flag!

🔴 Selected Markets creates unrealistic expectations – a red flag!

What is Selected Markets?

Selected Markets is an unregulated broker platform similar to LegitHartford24, which we reviewed earlier. Problem with unregulated brokers is that they are not reliable and abuse the regulations. Make sure to stay away from them as they are anonymous and that they can disappear any time without notice. Companies providing online brokerage services without a license cannot provide their clients with any sort of protection.

Selected Markets Regulation

They are unregulated and most likely totally illegal, which ultimately means that your funds will be in danger if you deposit! So, yet again, there is another reason to stay away from them!

As there is no regulation, the people running the platform can pocket your money while bearing no responsibility for their criminal actions. They can disappear any time without notice. Companies providing online investment services without a license cannot provide their clients with any sort of protection. In contrast, regulated firms are required by law to adhere to a slew of regulations that ensure the safety of client’s funds. For example, in most jurisdictions, a company will get a license if it meets the minimum capital requirement that varies by country and may also depend on the product specification, business classification and so on.

To make sure you are dealing with a regulated and known broker, you should be able to find easily who is the CEO of this investment firm, who is running it etc. Lack of information is a big red flag since you don’t know who will be dealing with YOUR MONEY. This is the reason why they are dangerous to deal with.

On top of that, once you click and provide them with your e-mail and contact number they will ring you immediately and promise you anything to make you deposit money with them as fast as possible. Most of the scammers are experienced manipulators and before you know it they’d ask for your bank card numbers to assist you with the deposit. You shouldn’t provide this information. There is also a chance to become a victim of Identity theft, experiencing many more problems consequently.

Selected Markets Complaints

Depending on the amount of experience people have with brokers, it may be easy to tell what is legitimate and off-base before the problem starts. However, most of our clients were not aware their platform was problematic before they had already signed up. If they show any of these signs, either avoid them entirely or look very carefully before proceeding:

đź”´ Not regulated

đź”´ High fees and commissions

đź”´ Not enough information on the website

đź”´ Poor communication and refusal to answer questions

đź”´ Pushy manner

đź”´ Keeps mentioning rules and fees that were not outlined in the contract

đź”´ Does not let you withdraw money from your account

Selected Markets Products and Services

They are not safe, and we say so because it’s an unregulated broker. They always promise things they won’t deliver, and Selected Markets makes no exception – they claim that customers can become rich quick, which is a scam offer seen from any viewpoint! Such promises are ludicrous, and they show that Selected Markets is a suspected scam you should avoid! Beware!

Selected Markets Customer Support

Selected Markets allows you to contact them through telephone contact and email. They do not provide any location data. There is no certainty in the contact information available.

You ought to receive an instant reply to your query, if not fast. Nevertheless, fraudsters cut off communications upon receiving your money. It is improbable to deliver a friendly interface without proper customer relations. Active customer support assists in determining more trust in the company.

Are Funds Safe With Selected Markets?

With such lack of information and being unregulated, funds are not safe. Security of funds is a huge problem with brokers. A red flag that we noticed is that they are withholding vital information to users. They could go bankrupt from one day to another since there are no banking information about them.

Selected Markets does not guarantee the security of funds. The safety of your money is a top factor to consider in any platform. Any red flag is a warning you should not ignore. Investing your money with anonymous platforms not only puts your money at risk. Your data may fall into the wrong hands attracting criminal activities during the registration process.

Selected Markets Withdrawals

The point at which many of our clients realize they are dealing with a scam broker is when they request to withdraw funds and the broker either won’t allow them or will make it difficult. They may employ the following tactics:

🔴 Will aggressively urge clients to make additional trades. The client often acquiesces because the broker will be quite pushy and make it clear he or she is in control since they hold the client’s funds

đź”´ Will charge high withdrawal fees. Many clients will instead try to make more money to cover these high fees and will make more transactions instead of withdrawing

đź”´ Cease communication. They may be evasive or simply not communicate at all.

If Selected Markets is doing any of these things to avoid releasing your funds, do not hesitate to leave a comment to warn others.

Selected Markets Review: our Conclusion!

Selected Markets is an unregulated platform to avoid. Their methods for investment are unreliable.

  2. I invested 753 AUD for 500 USD. Tonight, assisted by John Williams “Senior Accounts Manager” Selected Markets, my equity increased to over 1500 USD (including a SM bonus of 250 USD). John tried to talk me into investing 20,000 USD. I said no, I’m comfortable to just keep in my 753 AUD in play. While trying to talk me into investing more funds, he forgot to close my 3 trades, before we finished our conversation. My equity is now down around 700 USD.

    1. Sorry to hear Denis. Appears I am in a similar boat as you. Did you find a way to get your funds back?

  3. This company is the worst impostor I have come across for Manager Johan F Is a great criminal man he gives you a reputation then he just wants more money I want to trade automatically but he managed to block my account so I couldn’t close it but he let it choose minus deal till my account was so much minus that they closed my account with 250 euros in loss DON’T ENTER THIS COMPANY LOOK ON THE HANDLE IF JOHAN WOULD CALL IT WAS SITUATED ON THE IS IN THE CHANNEL WHERE WE DON’T COME TO JUDGMENT

  4. This is a SCAM site. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR MONEY !!!
100% Guarantee that you will lose every penny/cent
Jay Wild and his associate “Elliott” are the lowest form of life.
They encourage you to invest as much as you can afford, even use your credit card to send them money .
They will pay you a small sum (profits) in the early days, to prove their skills and legitimacy, but once they have more than $1000 of your hard earned money, it is gone.
You will not be able to recover or withdraw anything from them.
They sound so genuine on the phone, but they are just priming you to get you to invest as much as possible.
The platform they show you the trades is not an active trading platform.
    It is pretend data.
I checked specific trades they had shown against my account and the data did not line up with the real time data I got from a genuine FX site.
It looks good, it looks professional, but these people are scum and the whole site is a SCAM.
    YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

  5. I have been receiving enormous amount of calls from really don’t know who. But it has been going on for a long time. Initially I applied I think it was bitcoin account but am not sure.
When they asked for my bank account number I immediately pressed delete, as that scrapes me.
I now have receive an excessive amount of calls, the first few times I answered and they said they were from some sort of trading company and I said I changed my mind am not interested.
Then more calls came and I picked up and tol them I am not interested and to stop calling me. The calls keep coming I have blocked some, then I just declined them immediately.
There are so many different numbers it’s terrible.
I have actually rang the some of the numbers spontaneously to see what happens, mostly day time unavailable but leave msg, evenings mobile disconnected check number.
I rang a few last night and they all had the same Asian person answering so I hung up, the last call I made I actually say hi you rang me can you let me know why, she said I did not ring you, you rang me I stated they rang me a few days ago and with that she hung up.
I have still got most of their numbers on my phone, and still received a call this morning.
I realise that the would be from throw away phones but what can I do to stop them without blocking them. Please Advise me.
    Thank you
    Carla Huider

  6. Big scam going on here with Selected Markets. Stay away from them if you want to keep your money. You cant withdraw any money from the account that they hold for you.

  7. Adam Cross, Jihn Fisher including all the brokers are thieves. You will not a penny aftrr you invest with this assholes. I list all my money i invested. They close my account and cannot contact them at all. They steal all the fund i invested . Please dont invest with Selectmarkets if you love your money. They are theives, scammers.

    1. Same here. I invested a lot of Money. When Covid hit, I received an email saying, in other words, have lost most of my Money. I had over $2000 US left in the Account. Now, I can not even find the Website let alone see how much is left. Blocked me completely.

  8. I too was taken in by them. I was very vulnerable at the time and even met with Jay Wild – as he likes to call himself. i was stupid as I usually check up on everything and this time I didn’t. He sounded so genuine. I was fooled. I guess it happens to everyone at one point in our lives. At least it was only money. That’s how I have to look at it as there are so many scammers out there who steal identities and medical scams that we can be thankful it was not that. It has been a very very hard life lesson and not one i will get over for many years. I feel like a fool!
