Is 7Online Legit ?

7Online is an offshore broker. Problem with offshore brokers is that they are not reliable and abuse the regulations. Make sure to stay away from this broker as they are anonymous and that they can disappear any time without notice.

To make sure you are dealing with a regulated and known broker, you should be able to find easily who is the CEO of this brokerage firm, who is running it etc. Lack of information is a big red flag since you don’t know who will be dealing with YOUR MONEY. 1. 7 Online are no Swindlers. They are scoundrels!
Legitimate people do not behave the way 7 Online harass people through phone calls.

I was reading about online trading and ‘created’ an account with 7 Online on 29th August 2020 just to see what it was about. I did not sign-up to any 7 Online ‘trading trainer’ to call or email me. I did not sign-up to receive any emails. I did not sign-up to receive any additional information.

Nightmare began from the very next morning.

30th August: 4 phone calls between 9:25-10:40am on a Sunday.
My phone identified each as a scam, so I did not answer and blocked them. Each time they called from a new number.

2nd Sept Tuesday: 5 phone calls. Started from 9:43am
The more I blocked/ignored the numbers, they more they called.

3rd Sept Tuesday: 12 phone calls. Started at 8:10am!
After the 7th phone call, I sent them an email at 1:31pm asking them to delete my account as I am not interested. I get an acknowledgment at 1:42pm saying they have passed on my request to the ‘relevant department’ (as if !).
I still get a call at 2:25pm; then from UK mobile numbers at 2:20pm.
I sent another email at 2:38pm reporting the calls and asking for the calls to be stopped.
Still get another call at 3:28pm. I answer this one:
Caller said he is calling from Education UK. I asked him how he got my number as I did not sign-up to any Education UK.
He responded, ‘’you signed-up to 7 online trading’’.
I told him about my email and asked him why I was still being harassed over the phone.
He responded: Why did you validate/create your account.
I cursed at him and put the phone down.
    Calls continue as I type.

  2. I strongly believe that those callers from 7online are professional scammers in the first degree! I have been scammed too, unfortunately.

  3. Part 2: 7online harassment has intensified

8th Sept, 7Online responds to my comment. Asks me to confirm my name, email and mobile number. I confirmed.
And since the number of calls has increased. Calls comes from all sorts of mobile numbers.

18th Sept, get a call from ‘an Adam’ he blatantly said,
‘’The only way of stopping these calls is that you activate your account with me, put some money in, the money remains as yours, leave it in the account for a few weeks, you will get financial advisor’s call, you can decline their suggested actions and withdraw your money.’’
    I declined.
He persisted and said, ‘’then you can continue to enjoy getting these calls, they are coming from more than one company and will not cease in any other way’’.

    9th Sept: 7 calls
    10th Sept: 4 calls
    11th Sept: 2 calls
    12th Sept: 1 Call
14th Sept: 4 calls (three calls were after 7:25pm)
15th Sept: 5 calls (last call at 8:58pm)
    16th Sept: 5 calls
    17th Sept: 7 calls
18th Sept: 2 calls so far
